Meet Dr. Moore

Dr. Moore, a specialist in pediatric dentistry, received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She completed her residency and received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children’s Hospital Department of Pediatric Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama in 2007. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Hill College in 1999.

Dr. Moore is an active member of several dental organizations. She has held all offices in the Mobile Area Dental Society, serving as the first female President of the Mobile Area Dental Society in 2017. She received the Alabama Dental Association’s “Most Excellent Fellow” award. She has held all offices in the Alabama Dental Association and served as President of the Alabama Dental Association (ALDA) in 2020-2021.

Dr. Moore served on the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Dental Association, as well as the Council on Membership. She has served on and has been the chair of the Council on the New Dentist, for which she received ALDA’s “Outstanding Council Chair Award.” She has also served in the ALDA House of Delegates, has been the chair of the Credentialing Committee, served on the Reference Committee, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Dental Political Action Committee. She is serving on the Alabama Dental Association’s Council on Legislation and on the Alabama Board of Dental Scholarships and Awards. She is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She was also selected as one of Mobile Bay‘s 2014 Class of Forty under Forty.

Dr. Moore is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where she has served on the Vestry. She is active in her community and is a member of the Junior League of Mobile and the Mobile Rotary Club.

Her greatest accomplishments are her two daughters, Claire-Burton and Kate.
